    Angell Transport is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious On-Call CDL A Driver to join our transportation team.

    This role is ideal for experienced drivers looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Operate a semi-truck to transport freight to various locations.

    · Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

    · Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

    · Maintain accurate logs and documentation.

    · Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

    · Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.

    Requirements:

    · Valid CDL Class A license

    · Clean driving record

    · Minimum 1 years of commercial driving experience

    · Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

    · Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards

    · Flexibility to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Experience with dry van, and intermodal containers

    · Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)

    · Effective communication and customer service

    CDL Delivery Driver Requirements:

    • Must live within 25 miles of Haslet, TX
    • Valid Class A CDL, at least 21 years old, with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
    • Must complete a CMV road test at the time of hire
    • No failed or refused drug/breath alcohol tests, including DUIs, DWIs, and BACs
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
    • Good DAC report, clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report
    • Must have a valid DOT Med Card and pass a pre-employment drug screen
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and provide proper documentation
    • Must be able to use E-Logs, communication, and routing platforms, including iOS software
