National Sales Manager
Salary Range: $90,000 base + commission/bonuses

Summary
The National Sales Manager is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing all company-wide sales operations, driving national revenue growth, and leading the organization’s sales strategy. This role may grow into managing a team of sales professionals, while developing large-scale sales initiatives, overseeing major accounts, and ensuring alignment between sales performance, company goals, and market expansion efforts. The National Sales Manager plays a critical leadership role in shaping Go HQ’s market presence and long-term sales success.
Responsibilities
National Sales Leadership
- Oversee all sales territories and ensure consistent national performance
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to support growth targets
- Create and manage sales quotas, team goals, and compensation plans
Team Management & Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the sales team
- Provide coaching, set expectations, and foster a high-performance culture
- Ensure alignment between team activities and company strategy
Strategic Account Oversight
- Manage relationships with key enterprise-level prospects and clients
- Support large, high-value sales opportunities and negotiations
- Collaborate with leadership to secure strategic partnerships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to develop coordinated campaigns and messaging
- Partner with Operations and Customer Success to support client onboarding and retention
- Provide leadership input on product offerings and market needs
Market Intelligence & Growth Planning
- Analyze national market trends, competitor strategies, and new opportunities
- Adjust sales approaches based on data and evolving customer needs
Reporting & Forecasting
- Present sales performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Track KPIs, team productivity, and revenue outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 7–10 years of progressive sales experience, including leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success overseeing multi-state or national territories
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience designing compensation plans, quotas, and scaling sales teams
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales software
