As a Fleet Mechanic, you’ll support maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles, including vans, step vans, and box trucks. Responsible for timely, quality, and cost-effective repairs to keep the fleet running safely and efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $75,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule & Location
- Full-time, on-site at our Livingston terminal
- Flexible/variable schedule with early morning start required (~7:00 AM)
- Dispatch window 8:30–10:30 AM; some afternoons as trucks return
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient service, including:
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
- Preventative maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles
- Inspect, replace, and repair defective parts
- Maintain clear, organized maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and in-cab systems
- Complete minor body repairs as needed
- Manage parts inventory and communicate needs
- Respond to after-hours service calls when required
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of truck/fleet maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must submit to a background check and drug test (paid for by FedEx)
- Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles
- Mechanically inclined and able to work independently
- Military background welcomed but not required
